The Infralight Pro-series of ultraviolet disnfection systems uses the latest in uv lamp and ballast technology. Amalgam ultraviolet lamps emit more than double the amount of ultraviolet light that normal low presure lamps emit. Amalgam lamps operate at a higher envelope temperature which means the uv output is constant through a wider temperature range. Because of this advance, amalgam lamps are successfully used in hot water systems treating legionella, often found in hospitals nursing homes and aged care facilities. All Pro-Series uv disinfection systems utilise stable electronic ballasts to maximise lamp life and reduce power consumption. Features of the A series include UV sensor, remote monitoring with4-20mA, remote activation, off-delay operation, outdoor installation. The Pro series systems are designed for continuous flow from zero to design flow rate. If the unit experiences zero flow, the unit will switch off automatically after a preset time (factory set 2 hours). The feature saves power, extends lifetime of the lamp and prevents water or effluent passing untreated.

End of Life Dose
The pressure chamber that the water or fluid passes through is made from AS316 polished stainless steel. Chambers are rated for all commercial beverage and dairy applications. Assembly is quick and simple. The chamber is compatable with hot water and steam sanitisation processes.
The control cabinet is normmaly constructed from AS304 stainless steel with a standard IP rating 65. Infralight A series are designed for outdoor installations unless requested otherwise
UV Intensity Monitor
The uv intensity monitor (photometer), measures the ultraviolet light emitting from the uv lamp. The meter indicates UV lamp output in percent of watts, monitors ballast condition and lamp condition. Volt free contacts allow remote monitoring of ballast and lamps. 4-20mA is standard
All Systems be triggered and monitored remotely. Remote switching requires a closed dry contact (PLC or flow switch) only.
When the remote switch is open, either from a PLC or flow switch etc, the UV system will remain ON for a SET period of time. When the external switch is again closed, the UV system will remain on and the time OFF period is reset. This prevents system from swithcing ON and OFF during times of no flow.
The UV sensor monitors the uv irradiance and is tracked with a 4-20mA output. This can be displayed remotely
